Looks like the music industry is starting their war against fans anew with singers like Katy Perry and Billy Joel sending a petition to the US Copyright Office followed by an open letter to Congress by Taylor Swift and others… mainly against YouTube it seems.
And then there is the locking up your mobile device while at concerts in these little baggies which can’t be unlocked unless you leave.
Ultimately I think it’s more about greed than copyright but you would think the whole fight against technology would be getting old by now.
I mean we could just turn off the internet if it would help out the music and movie industry. And go back to CDs.
