Figured I would throw this out here in case anyone is interested in getting into podcasting.
- PowerPress plugin for WordPress to publish the audio or video file and add the episode to the RSS feed which is configured for use with iTunes
- iTunes for well, getting your podcast out there and noticed
- Soundcloud to host the audio files – when someone goes into iTunes and listens to a podcast, the audio file comes from Soundcloud’s CDN (plus the additional exposure you will get on Soundcloud itself)
- MaxCDN to host the video files if you choose to create video files for your podcast
- Audacity for recording and processing audio
- Snagit for screen recordings
- iPhone for recording demo videos
- iMovie for processing recorded iPhone video
