I blew up my Twitter account a while back and just like when I stopped watching the local news and reading the front page of Reddit, yeah I don’t miss it.

It’s like a nasty rest stop bathroom that has crap everywhere, then you look up and there’s crap on the ceiling too and you’re like WTF?

Update: 8/9/19 – Thought I would add a bit to this based on a couple things I read this morning.

Sports stars who voice their political opinions are greeted with death threats which goes back to my opinion that there is no solution for human violence when you are willing to kill because someone has a different opinion than you.

And it just validates my opinion that social media is a giant cesspool.

Random thought: in the days of the BBS and even now in online forums, the ridiculous crap that goes on in social media would get you banned.

Interesting article today about why LinkedIn isn’t having the issues that social media has. Main reason, it’s a job site and going off on a tirade about how you want to murder 30 chickens and a beagle isn’t really helpful for getting that dream job.
