I’m going to start a new hobby this weekend (hopefully if the skies are clear) and I can’t wait. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time.
I’ll be attempting to image deep sky objects using the Celestron CGX 800 Rowe-Ackermann Schmidt Astrograph (RASA) telescope.

I picked this one because it’s an imaging only (no eyepiece) telescope that captures images at 60 seconds of exposure instead of the normal 4-5 minutes or longer it can take with other types of telescopes.
I’ll be adding to this post once I get my gear later this week and hopefully get some spectacular imagery as well after I figure how to make it work.
Stay tuned…
